Kerolyn Katrina Shairsingh

I am a scientific engineer who loves learning and dancing, values authenticity and open-mindedness, and strives for balance. I have a strong desire to help people and I'm looking for opportunities to make a meaningful impact to society.
In academia, I spearheaded built environment and health related projects that strengthened my project management skills and forged collaborations with multiple universities and health research scientists. I have five years+ publishing and publicizing key findings to academia, industry and government about statistical models that predict air quality.
In industry, I worked cohesively with multidisciplinary teams to commercialize R&D projects. I also directed the day to day functions of the projects which included leading team meetings, organizing timelines, problem solving, and managing conflicts between stakeholders. I have five years+ leading feasibility studies, managing engineering projects, and communicating results and recommendations to management and clients.
